Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of designhotshop.com and any package you purchase from Design Hot Shop LLC ("designhotshop," "we," "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

What we sell

We sell fixed-price design, development, branding, e-commerce, SEO/performance, and monthly care-plan services, described on each service page and on our pricing page. Package scope, price, turnaround, and revisions are as stated on the page at the time of your order.

Placing an order

Adding a package to your cart and completing checkout is an offer to purchase that package at the stated price. We confirm the order at checkout (an order reference is issued) and by email. A one-off package requires a 50% deposit at checkout to book your project slot; a Care Plan requires the first month's fee at checkout. Scope & changes

Each package's scope, deliverables, and revision-round count are fixed at the price shown. Work outside that scope — including additional pages, additional concepts beyond the included count, or a materially different direction after the revision rounds are used — is scoped and priced separately before we start it. We'll always tell you plainly when something is outside scope, in writing, before doing it.

Your responsibilities

To meet the published turnaround, we need timely responses, content, and feedback from you at each step of the process (see How we work). A delayed response on your end extends the timeline; we'll communicate any resulting schedule change plainly.

Ownership & delivery

Once a package is paid in full, you own the deliverables described on that package's page — design files, source code, brand assets, or the audit report, as applicable — free of any proprietary lock-in on our part. We retain a working archive for our own records but no exclusive rights beyond what's needed to deliver the engagement.

Post-launch fix windows

Build packages (Website Design, Web Development, E-commerce) include a defined post-launch fix window, stated on the package. This window covers correcting defects in what we built — it does not cover new features, content changes, or scope outside the original package. Ongoing edits after the window are available as a Care Plan.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars. One-off packages: 50% due at checkout, 50% invoiced on delivery, due per the invoice terms (net 15 unless otherwise agreed). Care Plans: billed monthly in advance; the first month is due at checkout. A missed monthly payment may pause plan services until payment is received.

Demonstration checkout

The payment step on this site is a demonstration (mock) integration while we prepare a live payment integration. No real card is charged and no card data is stored or transmitted through this site's checkout. Placing a demonstration order confirms your intent to purchase and triggers a real invoice and a real deposit request from us directly by email, rather than an automatic charge.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to submit false information, attempt to interfere with its operation, or misuse the contact or checkout forms, including automated submissions. We may refuse service to anyone attempting to do so.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Louisiana law, our liability for any claim relating to a package or this site is limited to the amount you paid for that package. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
